I bought this for my 7 year old son as a Christmas present and he absolutely loves this thing. I was pleasantly surprised by the flight performance and battery life, he normally gets 7-10 minutes of flight which is not bad for something this small. The controls are very easy to use and get used to, he was a pro within a few minutes of flight. He's used it and charged it numerous times and so far the battery and the plane itself have held up very well. If you're looking for something that's not necessarily hobby grade but a good solid flyer that is easy to use and safe to fly then this one will be a perfect fit for you.

This drone is amazing! I'm still not clear about take-off, but I just learned how to complete a 360° (this is my son's). On it's first mission, it landed in a tree next to the pond and sat there for a day. It was about 40 ft high. The following day we had high winds and were expecting rain, but the wind blew it down, into the pond (rough start). I removed the battery and put both in a container of rice. The next day, it was fine. Now that my son understands it better (5yo) he's having a blast! If I can get it on sale again, I'm getting one for myself.
Honestly, when I first received this airplane, I thought it looked cheap and not very sturdy. Boy was I surprised when we gifted it to our grandson, he absolutely loves this remote control plane. He has played hours and hours with this and it has held up well. Just playing really zips around and would be hours of fun for children and adults alike.
